Borrowed from thermodynamics:

  • ΔS < 0 = Response increases confusion (VOID)
  • ΔS = 0 = Response maintains confusion (SABAR)
  • ΔS > 0 = Response reduces confusion (SEAL)

The API is the waiter — it takes your request to the system and brings back the response.
